Attorney Vidoli to present on Special Needs Planning

When:  Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 8th, Attorney Vidoli will be leading a training workshop on Special Needs Planning at Riverside Community Care in Woburn.  Some topics to be discussed include:
  • Preserving eligbility for public benefits.
  • Setting up a structure for financial and legal management for the child with special needs.
  • Special needs trust funding.
  • Choices of trustees.

This event will take place on Wednesday, May 8th, from 7 p.m. at the Family Support Center located on 300 West Cummings Park, Woburn.

Kristin Hartness Speaks nationally and internationally on the value of assistance dogs in the lives of people living with a variety of disabilities.  A service dog user herself, Kristin knows first hand the independence a well-trained canine brings to an individual.

32nd Annual Brain Injury Conference

On Thursday, March 28th, BIA-MA will host a conference that will offer a variety of workshops taught by a group of brain injury professionals. Harry S. Margolis, along with Lawrence Cohen and Mathew Martino of Nixon Peabody, will be leading a workshop on special needs and trusts. Participants will learn about budgeting, how much they can spend from a trust without depleting their funds and preserving eligibility for public benefits.
 
The conference will take place on Thursday, March 28th, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel located at 181 Boston Post Road, West Marlborough.
