A Primer on Massachusetts Estate Tax

While very few estates are subject to a federal estate tax, which only applies to those exceeding $11.2 million (in 2018), many more are subject to the Massachusetts estate tax for which the threshold is $1 million. 
 
Harry Margolis explains the Massachusetts estate tax structure and address steps to reduce or eliminate the estate taxes on their estates.
